Workshop Description:
Water damage is a common hazard for many institutions in Manitoba, with floods an annual threat.  Water damage can be disastrous to collections, but survivable – or even avoidable - with the help of a plan.
Emergency Preparedness for Flooding is a one-day workshop that covers Risk assessment, Planning and Preparation, Response, Salvage and Recovery.  At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to assess the risk of water for their own institutions, prepare for the worst, and have plans and procedures for their institution to facilitate recovery.

Presenter: Jane Dalley, Dalley Froggatt Heritage Conservation Services
This workshop will be presented by Jane Dalley, of Dalley Froggatt Heritage Conservation Services. Jane has over 40 years of conservation experience and works as a conservation consultant for institutions locally, nationally and internationally.
